The path to securing your loan begins with our short and easy pre-qualification application. Once you’re pre-qualified and have found the right home, your Watson Mortgage Loan Originator will assist you with your loan application. After the application is completed, we’ll submit it for processing, as well as prepare any Federal and State disclosure documents applicable to your loan.
Your Watson Mortgage Loan Underwriter will review your loan application to ensure it is compliant with all Federal, State, and Agency guidelines. After issuing a conditional approval, they’ll collect any additional documentation required from you. Once you’ve supplied those documents, your application will be submitted for final approval.
During the processing step, your Watson Mortgage Loan Processor will review your loan file in detail and notify you of any additional documentation needed. They will also order an appraisal of your home and deliver a copy of the report to you when completed. Finally, they’ll submit your loan to underwriting for review and approval.
As part of the final step, your Watson Mortgage Loan Closer will send you the closing disclosure, which includes the final settlement figures and total funds needed for closing. The final loan closing documents will then go to the closing attorney or title company for your signature. Congratulations, your loan has been approved!
